2014 is the 20th anniversary of a lot of things...Britpop, Grunge, Kurt Cobain killing himself...and Marie Claire magazine. In honor of Marie Claire, the designers had to take inspiration from the past and design an outfit for 20 years into the future. I personally would have taken inspiration from Britpop instead of Grunge but that's how I roll.
Most of the designers made very dark, depressing Blade Runner type clothes. Except Sandyha who used pink and won! What the hell?!? I said to my mom that this was going to happen; the judges will continue to love her and the other designers will be steaming in the background.
I thought Emily's out fit rocked. I also really like Char and Kini.
Next week I'll live blog...um the next day cuz I live in the U.K. and have to watch it online.
